Dr. Nagda is a native of New England. After completing high school in New Hampshire, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He graduated with Honors and was accepted to the Chicago Medical School. There he served as a national delegate for the medical student section of the American Medical Association and as vice president of the Chicago Medical School chapter. He graduated at the top of his class and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. At graduation he received the Dean's Award for outstanding service and performance.

 Dr. Nagda completed his internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. There he assisted in the care of several of Penn's Ivy League Champion sports teams and the Penn Relays. During his final year at Penn, Dr. Nagda was elected to serve as the academic chief resident for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and was given the DeForest Willard Award as the most outstanding Orthopaedic resident.

Dr. Nagda then pursued additional training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at the world famous Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. While there he assisted in the care of many sports teams including the Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball Team, Los Angeles Lakers Basketball Team, Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Mighty Ducks Hockey Teams, Los Angeles Galaxy Soccer Team, Los Angeles Sparks Women's Basketball Team, and the Los Angeles Avengers Arena Football Team. He also assisted in the care of the athletic departments at the University of Southern California and the Loyola Marymount University.
